Via Angry Twins, I found the Ecclesia Militans in action with this open letter to B. Walters. On the eve of the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel, let us pray for protection against the snares of the devil including the heresies of the media.

First, responding to your comment about the photo of the week. Yes, it seems like we're sort of regressing when we see the Pope in red hat. We're so used to papal white that it's hard to imagine him otherwise. I am inclined to share the more rare (old and new)photos of him as I find them and if I ever find any more.
Secondly, I am humbled by your kind words, which I always appreciate. Thank you for your insight - yes, I did wade into controversial waters, which hopefully was seen as a simple defense of the faith.
I do understand your trying to avoid controversial blogs and rightly so because some of them are just too intense. SPH will strive to be more of a place of joyful rest.
Once again, thank you for your words of encouragement. Your visits make blogging worthwhile.
