Prayer of Humility

Lord, allow me not
To think that I am great
For when I pursue this thought
I place myself at the end!
Rather let me be the least
Among Thy servants
For when I desire this thought
I become Thy vessel
And may act according to Thy Will
Then at least I gain the chance
Of being worthy of Heaven.
