Hi Carmel. A funion is a fried onion ring and is a snack much like potato chips. It's high in sodium though like any other junk food. In fact, I'm eating a bag of shrimp crackers as I'm blogging. Thanks for your inquiry about this American snack.

By the way, Carmel... I just love to sing Italian arias and Santa Lucia is one of my favorite songs which I recently had to sing for my voice recital. Everyone was kind enough to stay until I had finished the song! Thanks be to God. : )
